Uniconta is hosted in a hosting center, and security procedures, etc., are described in our ISAE3402 report.
Uniconta uses effective encryption and regularly conducts vulnerability scans and penetration tests. Actions performed in the accounting system are continuously logged.
All access to Uniconta employees and Uniconta system access is secured through a strong password policy with high requirements for passwords.
Additionally, Uniconta operates with mirrored disks in separate hosting centers.
Backup of Uniconta's servers
A daily backup of Uniconta’s servers is performed and stored for 60 days. This means that, at most, 24 hours of work may be lost in case of a failure where it is necessary to revert to the latest backup.
In addition, a backup of SQL data is taken every half hour and stored for 180 days.
Restore
We do not test the backups, but 1 to 2 times per month, our customers request a restore of a backup to be installed on our “restore server.”
Incremental backups are taken, which can be restored within every 15 minutes. A full backup is taken daily at 00:01.
It takes approximately 8 hours to restore a fully operational environment.

Local Backup
Data can be exported to a CSV file. All data is exported except for scanned documents, which are saved in separate files
Backup/Copy
If you want a backup/copy of a company, this can be done. This creates a full backup to a new company in Uniconta. This method is recommended before testing or trying out new routines. Note that this backup may not necessarily be complete, so it is not recommended to use it for production.
What data can actually be lost?
- Everything, if all entries are deleted
- Dimensional relationships, if they are changed/deleted
- Data without relationships
- These are the data that can be found in a backup
- Changes to master data
- These are the data that can be found in a backup.
